| Nothin'
but hockey.
Our
coaches are all certified according to USA
Hockey guidelines, and the results are on the ice, as
Badger teams annually contend for various PAHL titles and
have proven themselves to be threats on a local, regional
and national level.
As
one of the oldest associations in the Pittsburgh Amateur Hockey
League, the Badgers have a tradition of excellence dating
to 1975. And in recent years, Beaver teams have proven to
be among the most dominant, hanging 45 different championship
banners at our home rinks in the last 12 years alone.
Included
among that total are 25 PAHL titles and 13 appearances in
the Mid-American District State Playdown championship game
(the Badgers won 10 of those games).
In
the past six years, our Midget AA Tier II 17U team has stepped
onto the national stage, representing the association at the
USA Hockey national championships from 1999-2002, finishing
no worse that sixth.
The
midgets placed sixth in 2002, third in both 2001 and 2000
and fourth in 1999.
